Future Product Pipeline

Brushing solution for whitening teeth

Teeth whitening is a booming market dominated by products including toothpastes, strips, gels, and LED light teeth whitening devices to remove stains from teeth. Many of these products can lead to side effects such as gum irritation and can therefore only be used for short time periods. bonyf intends to market a teeth-whitening brushing solution, based on its in-house effervescent core technology. It is simple and easy to use, with no trays or syringes. The brushing solution is mixed at home and eliminates the need for regular toothpaste during the course of the 20-day treatment. A profound whitening effect has been clinically proven with excellent tolerability at the gum level. This product is also ideal for people with sensitive gums, which accounts for 50% of the population. Product classification: Cosmetic Device.

R&D Potential Future Applications

Post-SRP/post-dental implant
muco-adhesive paste

Patients suffering from gingivitis and periodontitis undergo a scaling and root planing (SRP) procedure by the dentist to remove bacterial plaque built-up on the gum-line and in the periodontal pockets. This treatment is invasive and causes temporary gum inflammation, bleeding and pain.

A NitrAdine®-based disinfecting muco-adhesive cream (paste dressing) that the dentist can apply directly on the treated areas of the gums will be evaluated by bonyf.

This could ensure gums can recover properly as the muco-adhesive paste will protect and isolate the treated area from post treatment infections. This product can also be used by dental implant surgeons to protect the implant area post dental implant placement to prevent cross contamination and reduce pain.

Wart removal paste

Warts are caused by an infection with a virus called HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). Their growth can appear anywhere on the body and are easily transmittable. Common warts are found on average in 1 out of 5 people. Most products on the market are based on salicylic acid and/or freezing procedures to kill the virus infected cells.

This procedure of wart removal can be painful and uncomfortable. bonyf’s vision is to develop a wart removal paste based on its proven anti-viral NitrAdine® formulation with the hope of commencing clinical trials in the future.
