Effervescent Disinfecting Tablets for removable orthodontic appliances

NitrAdine® Ortho & Junior Disinfecting Tabs are effervescent tablets used to clean and disinfect removable orthodontic appliances. The tablets have demonstrated high in-vitro biofilm removal activity against a variety of microorganisms including Candida albicans, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus hirae, Adenovirus, Poliovirus and Murine norovirus. The disinfecting formula is fast and effective with proven efficacy.

To avoid the removable orthodontic appliance becoming contaminated with biofilm, which can lead to symptoms such as halitosis (bad breath), stomatitis (thrush) and angular cheilitis (cuts on the corners of the mouth), it is recommended to use NitrAdine® Ortho & Junior Disinfecting Tabs on a regular basis*, as recommended by the dentist.

NitrAdine® Ortho & Junior Disinfecting Tabs have the following activities:

Bactericidal (according to EN 13727): effective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus and Enterococcus hirae after 15 minutes.

Yeasticidal (according to EN 13624): effective against Candida albicans after 15 minutes.

Virucidal (according to EN 14476): effective against Adenovirus, Poliovirus, Murine Norovirus after 15 minutes.
